Today we toured the Champagne region of France where they grow 3 types of grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Our first stop was the Cathedral in Reims, built in 1212. Then we went to the Pierre LeBoeuf vineyards in Mutigny, located at the highest point of the Champagne region. After lunch in Epernay, we visited the Moët and Chandon winery for a tour of their wine cellars.
